After I became a Certified Financial Planner™ and started my own financial planning business, I searched for financial planning systems that would help simplify the process so that people’s goals were directly connected to their financial plans.

 

Equally important, I wanted to make sure that my clients who were engaged in the process truly owned their financial plans. I did not want to be just another financial planner, sticking people in flavor-of-the-day investment plans.

I created my process—the Financial Freedom Process™—to bridge the gap that exists between the way the financial planning model is and the way it ought to be.

 

This book is the natural outcome of that process. It is my hope that Solving Your Financial Planning Puzzle will serve as a companion for all the people lost in a maze of complex financial products.
